Haringey Feast didn’t end in November 2023!

Our legacy programme ensures that Haringey Feast will live on in our communities and continue to engage our residents in all things…made by Haringey!

This will include:

All Haringey Feast creations being either be repurposed, showcased or donated to local care homes, schools, libraries and other community spaces
A community produced, culturally representative soup recipe book
Commissioning more story-telling chairs for use across the borough
Giving creations back to the groups who made them

Handmade neck warmers by RomTingz have been donated to Mulberry Junction - Haringey's dedicated resource centre in Tottenham for single people affected by or at risk of homelessness.

Quilt Club have been holding workshops for local people to add their names to a beautiful 'patchwork sky'.

Hand decorated napkins have been given back to pupils at Earlsmead Primary School.

The legacy of Haringey Feast also feeds into our wider London Borough of Culture programme.

Haringey – ‘The Rebel Borough’ – will be London Borough of Culture in 2027!

We all know that Haringey is a borough that fizzes with arts, culture and creativity and London Borough of Culture 2027 is our opportunity to share our stories with the world.
