About the Creation
For the Haringey Feast, the Turkish Cypriot Community Association created a Turkish Red Lentil Soup recipe, Kırmızı Mercimek Çorbası.
This velvety, comforting, and creamy soup was enjoyed by the guests at Alexandra Palace. It is the most popular soup among the Turkish community due to the ingredients not being expensive, plus it is full of iron and vitamins!
About the Community
The Turkish Cypriot Community Association (TCCA) was established in 1976 and is the largest Turkish speaking charity in the UK.
