Alexandra Palace was opened in 1873, having been designed as the ‘Palace of the People’, with the intended purpose to provide entertainment and recreation for the masses. Today the Park and Palace are run by a charity – the Alexandra Park and Palace Charitable Trust – which continues this mission in 2023 by hosting a programme of live music, sport, theatre, comedy, exhibitions and creative learning opportunities for the local community, as well as continuing to care for and restore the listed Palace and 196 acres of award-winning parkland. 

Bernie Grant Arts Centre (BGAC) is a £15 million purpose-built arts centre, inspired by the vision of the late, great Bernie Grant MP.

The centre includes a 274-seat auditorium, studios, rehearsal spaces, a café, bar, Paul's Square courtyard and a creative Enterprise Centre.

The centre was designed by David Adjaye and opened in September 2007.

BGAC supports, invests and proudly presents new and exciting work from local artists, whilst creating meaningful, authentic engagement with our diverse communities. 

From manor house to museum, Bruce Castle is a place you can immerse yourself in 1,000 years of stories. As the borough’s key heritage resource our collections inspire and are shared with creatives to work with communities and find out more of Haringey’s acts of innovation, migration, radicalism and resilience.

Furtherfield connects people to new ideas, critical thinking and imaginative possibilities for art, technology and the world around us, promoting inclusivity and equity in art and technology and advocate for their use in imagining and building real social change and positive environmental impact.

Haringey Creates partnership of schools, artists and creative organisations based or working in Haringey. They are all about increasing access to high-quality arts and creative education and pathways for all children and young people across our borough.

Haringey Music Service coordinates individual, group and whole-class instrumental and vocal teaching in Haringey schools. Working with a highly skilled and carefully vetted team of over 150 freelance teachers, they give students opportunities to perform locally, regionally and around the world.

Established in August 2000, Haringey Shed is an inclusive performing arts organisation for children and young people, with or without disabilities. The aim of the charity is to improve the lives of children and young people, encourage their independence and integration into the community, through access to the creative arts, including music, dance, and drama. 

Jacksons Lane is an arts and cultural venue in Haringey, with a year-round programme of contemporary circus and family performance, arts participation and cultural education exists to empower, and ignite creativity within, diverse communities and work tirelessly to overcome traditional barriers through art.
