Alexandra Barbareau

Alexandra Barbareau is an artist-filmmaker who has been living and working in Haringey for the past 3 years. Her practice is centred around historical elements such as using analogue technology and reinventing lab processing. As an experienced film technician, she is deeply committed to the restoration of archive films and challenging the sustainability of film developing. 

Over the past 7 years, she has worked across different roles of film production and lab work, and now applies knowledge from both sectors working as an independent artist.
